What is Climate Angels?
Climate Angels is an angel investment fund that invests in startups working on Climate Tech and Pollution Reduction Tech.
We are stage agnostic but sector specific.
How much do we invest?
We can invest anywhere from INR 0.5-10 Crore in each startup. We do invest in pre-revenue companies.
What kind of companies do we invest in?
We invest in any company that is focused on reducing Green House Gas emissions and other types of pollution, in hard-to-abate sectors like Agriculture, Mobility, Energy, Waste, Water, and Built Environment among several others.
The investee companies’ technology should bring about a massive paradigm shift in reducing resource consumption and emissions or bring about a change in existing usage patterns. Over the last 12 months, we have invested in 7 companies, we invite founders looking to raise funds from us to get a sense of our investment style by checking out our portfolio companies.
What are our focus sectors?
At Climate Angels, we are looking to invest in startups which are focussed on working in following areas:

- Building Circular economy through closed loop consumer / industrial products
- Pollution / waste reduction
- Resource optimisation where new technology / process leads to massive decline in resource usage

Who are we?
Climate Angels is a part of GoMassive, a Global Wealth Management system that operates through its investment platform Climate Angles Fund and through its Open Innovation Programs at GoMassive Earth Network.

Shailesh Vickram Singh
Founder
Shailesh Vickram Singh is a venture capitalist / entrepreneur and is founder of Gomassive. Gomassive is sponsor of Climate Angels Fund which invest in easily stage startups solving climate change in India and USA. Apart from ClimateAngels, Gomassive operates an open innovation program for corporates and also operate an accelerator Lowcarbon.earth for UNEP.
Prior to starting gomassive, Shailesh was an executive director with SeedFund ($54 mn fund) and MD of a PE Fund ($170 mn).
Shailesh has over 20 years of experience in Entrepreneurship / Venture investing.
Shailesh has been a speaker at various Industry forums / panel. Some of the notable ones are Financial Times Investing for Good, Hong Kong, UN regional Climate summit- Bangkok, SWITCH Asia Clear Air Summit Bangkok, ANDE Summit (Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs), United Nations Environment Assembly, Nairobi, UNEP High level Dialogue series, Delhi, multiple events at Assocham, CII conferences, and at leading Institutes in India ( IIT Delhi, IIM Lucknow, IIT Kharagpur among others).
Shailesh’s articles are regularly published at leading newspapers of India including Economic Times, Times of India, YourStory, Inc42, Swarajya Magazine, MoneyControl etc and he is a regular feature at on various TV shows including CNBC Awaaz, News24 etc on issues related to on Climate Investing, Venture capital and Entrepreneurship.
Shailesh has done his MBA from IIM Lucknow and B.Tech from GB Pant Univ.
