OVERVIEW

About

Clean Electric is an EV battery startup building next-gen, fireproof, fast-charging battery packs for electric 2- and 3-wheelers. Their proprietary immersion liquid cooling tech gives them 3x faster charging, 16% longer range, and 1.7x battery life, without blowing up the cost. Founded by IIT-BHU grads Akash and Abhinav, the company is building from Bhopal and has already impressed OEMs like Bounce, Ampere, and Etrio in pilots.

Why We Invested?

Clean Electric is solving the #1 bottleneck in EV adoption: safe, fast-charging batteries. Their deep-tech thermal innovation blows past incumbents like Tesla in heat dissipation (7–10x coolant contact area) and safety. We saw a rare combination of strong IP (4+ patents pending), a razor-sharp team with industry backing, and OEM validation—all before revenue. In India’s exploding EV market, battery tech is the true goldmine, and Clean Electric is one of the few with real, scalable differentiation.
