OVERVIEW

About

Digital Paani (Digital Ecoinnovision Pvt. Ltd.) is a Gurgaon-based climate tech startup using IoT and SaaS to revolutionize wastewater treatment. Founded in 2020 by Stanford alum Mansi Jain and sector veteran Rajesh Jain, the company has built an end-to-end lifecycle management platform that automates operations of sewage treatment plants (STPs) across residential, commercial, and industrial setups. Its intelligent software integrates with hardware sensors to not just monitor but actively manage and optimize STP performance, reduce breakdowns, and cut operational costs.

Why We Invested?

We backed Digital Paani because it’s solving one of India’s most overlooked but critical climate problems, dysfunctional wastewater infrastructure. Unlike most players that offer passive dashboards, Digital Paani’s platform runs the plant, enabling operators to shift from reactive to proactive management. The team has deep domain expertise, a differentiated product that fits existing workflows, and strong traction in a $17B global market. With a scalable SaaS business model, recurring revenues, and strong ESG impact, this is the kind of tech-first, India-scale solution we believe will lead the next wave of climate resilience infrastructure.
