OVERVIEW

About

KisanKonnect is a farm-to-fork grocery platform that sources fresh fruits, vegetables, and pantry staples directly from a network of over 5,000 farmers across Maharashtra. Operating in Mumbai and Pune, the company manages its own collection centers, sorting units, and delivery fleet to maintain control over quality and supply chain reliability. It has built a loyal base of urban consumers looking for traceable, chemical-free produce, and serves over 1,000 daily orders through its D2C app and offline farmer stores.

Why We Invested?

We invested in KisanKonnect to back a full-stack, vertically integrated player in India’s fresh food value chain: one of the few models attempting to align farmer income enhancement with consumer demand for clean-label produce. The company’s tight control over sourcing and last-mile logistics, along with its direct farmer relationships, provides both margin resilience and a moat in an otherwise commoditized grocery space. We believe there’s a strong foundation to build premium brand equity and unlock institutional channels over time.
